DunAn Microstaq (DMQ) breaks barriers with 36% smaller MEMS microvalves

AUSTIN, TX–(Marketwired – March 23, 2015) – DMQ, a MEMS technology company advancing flow control solutions primarily for the HVAC, refrigeration and automotive industries, today announced the launch of its next generation flagship product The silQflo™ Silicon Servo Valve (SSV) is 36% smaller than its predecessor, the PDA-3.10, released in August 2013.

The reduction in size opens up additional avenues for overall weight reduction in compact designs and cost efficiencies through reduced material use. The new chip series is immediately available for customer evaluation. The first generation silQflo™ chip family will be discontinued at the end of 2015.

DMQ’s silQflo™ SSV is a MEMS-based microvalve designed to control fluid flow or pressure with high accuracy and fast response time. DMQ’s patented silQflo™ microvalve technology is an innovative solution for any flow control system, either as a standalone unit or as an integrated component of a more complex device. Additionally, the actuator’s inherent proportionality makes it ideal for proportional control or coupling with a Universal Superheat Controller/Sensor (USHX) or similar feedback system (such as a servo control valve).
