At Fakuma 2023, Feller Engineering will present their new MCS servo system, a space-saving and cost-effective combination of hot runner controller and servo controller, as well as the equally newly developed MCS-vgc system, a future-oriented valve gate system controller.

The new compact and space-saving MCS-Servo Hot Runner Control/Servo Control combination from Feller Engineering was developed together with its partner Servomold, the injection mold automation specialist. It combines up to 60 hot runner control zones and up to 5 components for controlling servo-driven actuators under a common, user-friendly operator interface on a 10-inch touch display. system with a second component is Servomold’s new SMC servo control system for executing rotational and linear movements in molds with high precision. Its intuitive, browser-based user interface and advanced features help achieve High-precision rotation and linear motion.

As a second trade show innovation, the Feller MCS-vgc product line’s valve gate controllers enable individual high-precision control of valve gate nozzles to progressively fill the mold cavity. The development is based on the proven MCS hot runner controller. Furthermore, this retains the familiar housing and ensures a high degree of user-friendliness, paving the way for the future use of both hot runner control and valve gate control. The associative sequence editor for valve control allows combining tabular displays and graphical elements to simplify sequence creation and make diagnostics more transparent. Configurable in groups of 6 for up to 30 nozzles, optionally equipped with end position monitoring.
